The Omega Speedmaster is a legendary name in watchmaking and has legions of fans. Known for its connection to space travel and use as the “moonwatch”, this Speedmaster showcases a moon phase indicator. The Speedmaster Moonphase leverages the latest in watchmaking technology and is housed in stainless steel case that is 44.25mm in diameter, 50mm lug to lug, and water resistant to 100m. True to Speedmaster tradition, the case is topped with a blue ceramic bezel with the tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal. The brilliant sun-brushed blue dial has two sub-dials at 9H and 3H for time and chronograph indications respectively, and a highly accurate moon phase indication at 6H that features a metallic crystal disk micro-structured to show a high-resolution image of the moon. The rhodium-plated hands and indices have Super Luminova and the sapphire crystal that is anti-reflective coated on both sides for readability. The “Speedmaster” wordmark, the tip of the chronograph central seconds, and the date indicator are in red for an added bold touch.

The heritage inspired Speedmaster Racing uses the beautiful and capable self-winding Co-Axial Caliber 9904, visible behind a sapphire case back, and comes with Omega’s 5-year warranty. This modern caliber is a Certified Master Chronometer, resistant to magnetic fields, uses silicon components and a free sprung balance for long-term reliability, provides a 60-hour power reserve, moon phase indicator, and a time zone function for your travel needs. It features a central seconds hand for the chronograph, with the left sub-dial showing running seconds and the date, and the right sub-dial the chronograph’s 60-minute and 12-hour hands in a highly readable format. This model comes on an alligator leather strap with a folding clasp.
