Having been a part of all six moon landings, the Omega Speedmaster Professional, (or “the Moonwatch”) is one of the most iconic and recognizable watch designs created. The asymmetrical stainless steel case is 42mm in diameter, 13.2mm thick, and 47.5mm lug to lug. The Speedmaster is known to fit well on many wrist sizes and is water resistant to 50m. The case has classic Omega twisted lugs and is topped with an anodized aluminum tachymeter bezel with the famous “dot over 90”. The dial is a clean matte black with classic 3-6-9 three register chronograph layout, and printed luminous markers for all twelve indices. The hands are white (with Super Luminova) for clean and crisp readability.

The Speedmaster Professional is perhaps the perfect chronograph design and is powered by the Co-Axial Caliber 3861 which runs at a classic 21,600 beats per hour, and is backed by Omega’s 5-year warranty. The modernized manual wound caliber is a Certified Master Chronometer, resistant to magnetic fields, uses silicon components and a free sprung balance for long-term reliability, and provides a 50-hour power reserve. It provides central chronograph seconds, running seconds at 9H, and a chronograph counters for 30 minutes and 12 hours at 3H and 6H respectively. The case back is steel, with an embossed Omega Seahorse medallion and engraving celebrating its flight qualification by NASA. True to the watch used on the moon, this Speedmaster has a hesalite crystal with an Omega logo at its center. This model comes on a coated nylon fabric strap (backed with leather) on a steel folding clasp.
