This sport watch is housed in a robust 44.2mm stainless steel case that is 50.6mm lug to lug and 14.4mm thick, with a curved sapphire crystal and screw down crown providing 200m of water resistance. This watch is powered by Grand Seiko’s Automatic Caliber 9S86, providing 55 hours of power reserve. This caliber is a high beat GMT movement, beating at 10 beats per second (or 36,000 per hour) with precision of +5 / -3 seconds per day, and is visible behind a sapphire case back. The “Flyer GMT” capability adds a 24-hour hand and allows you to adjust the main hour hand in one-hour jumps, backwards or forwards.

Grand Seiko is known for intricate dials and incredible casework utilizing Zaratsu polishing to create a mirror finish. The verdant green dial and long, bright red GMT are highly functional, while adding needed personality to the generally staid world of sport watches. The rotating, bi-directional green and white sapphire 24-hour bezel, hands, and dial are generously filled with Lumibrite for high legibility in all light conditions. A framed date window and crown at 4 o’clock provide a very comfortable wrist experience. This watch comes on an alligator strap with a push-button deployant clasp.
